The editor os the above Op-Ed seems to have determined that Al Gore will be running for president again in 2004. If that is so then he will have to try a little harder. Merely taking a slightly different stance from Bush will probably not get him too many votes. But then again, Republicans and Democrats are pretty similar anyways, so maybe he’ll appeal to a large enough number of lemmings.
