NYT mentions anti war protests

http://www.nytimes.com/2002/10/26/politics/26PROT.html?todaysheadlines I was surprised to see that the NYT would have a tiny report on the massive demonstrations in D.C. and other places against the administration’s war efforts.

Discrimination legit in the UK

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/2360319.stm It seems that the British government has now gone even further to appease our administration by making discrimination against foreigners suspected of “terrorism” legal. Fortunetaly they have not yet gone as far as prosecuting their own citizens yet but that may yet come.

Rumsfeld seeking to link Iraq to Al-Qaeda

http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,818883,00.html Nothing new really but nevertheless interesting. Defense Sectretary Donald Rumsfeld has assembled a team to keep up the administration’s illusion of everything “bad” in the world being related to terrorism. And the liberal Republicrats are accusing them of straying from that goal…

Racial profiling – locally

http://www.alternet.org/story.html?StoryID=14321 It seems that even the police are openly discriminating against African and Latin-American citizens. Their excuse for this are the expected quotas of arrests and that apparently mainly those races commit serious crimes. Like I’ve been saying… They and the government need to be extremely careful if they don’t want a large group of [...]

The silence of the bombs

War will not end terrorism

http://www.alternet.org/story.html?StoryID=14277 Another alternet story well worth a read. Although it largely states the obvious, as in that war will not put a stop to terrorism, but it also goes deeper.

White House scared of the truth re 9/11

http://www.nytimes.com/2002/10/12/national/12INQU.html?todaysheadlines Not surprisingly it looks as though the administration has been doing everything in its power to limit the powers of the independent 9/11 investigation committee. This to me is further proof that the administration is hiding a very big mountain of shit somewhere.

Court determines secret hearings to be lawful

http://www.nytimes.com/2002/10/09/politics/09IMMI.html?todaysheadlines Now even court judges have laied down their brains and become lemmings. In a decision last week, a federal court determined that A.G. Asscrotch’s secret hearings are lawful in the name of “national security”. It is ver sad to see that any dissenting voices that have power always fade away. It seems to me [...]

Vote for Stanley Aronowitz for NY governor

Don’t feel stupid if you have never heard of Stanley Aronowitz as the mainstream media has been doing an excellent job at concealing his candidacy. This is not a surprise as the mainstream media never pay much attention to the real candidates in political races. This should however not be an excuse to not vote [...]

Democrats finally state the obvious on Iraq

http://www.nytimes.com/2002/09/30/international/30CONG.html?todaysheadlines I’m happy to see that at least a few democrats have come to their senses and gone public with the fcats on how Bush is misleading the people of this country regarding the alleged need for a war on Iraq. Those people however don’t really care for the most part so I don’t think [...]

Nancy Reagan, our ally?

http://www.nytimes.com/2002/09/29/politics/29NANC.html?todaysheadlines It seems that Nancy Reagan now portrays herself as one of the more objective and sensible Republicans by trying to get lawmakers to reverse our president-select’s decision on stem cells. I hope Bush may see some reason in this as the issue relates to avoiding disasters like the one that happened to one of [...]
