Certain cities willing to preserve civil liberties

A few cities across the country have passed resolutions designed to protect the civil liberties of their residents. Even though this is a great thing, none of the resolutions were strong enough and I am not confident at all that they will do much good, if any at all. Besides, this is like window dressing. Only directly opposing the administration, the equivalent of a big “Go away!” neon sign on your roof, will have an effect.
