Looking at the history of military censorship of the press during war time one can see that ever since the Vietnam war, things have continually gotten worse for the US media and after the war in Afghanistan, one might wonder what comes after a near total information blackout.
Now e have the answer: Integration. Groups of journalists have effectively been enlisted by the US army to produce PR for them straight from the sidelines of the battlefields.
