In the recent weeks there have been many reports of discoveries in Iraq of materials falsely analyzed to be weapons of mass destructions, such as this one. Based on those it is increasingly looking like the UN and indeed perhaps even the former Iraqi government were right in declaring that there were no unknown caches of WMDs. This also explains why the US government has shifted its propaganda efforts increasingly to fool people into thinking that they’re interested in establishing true democracy in Iraq and not so much out to find WMDs anymore.
