US government at war for Israel and oil

According to a new Guardian article, the two theories of the US government occupying Iraq for Israel’s sake and trying to rebuild an oil pipeline may well be connected. Apparently in doing so the US government would benefit in several ways, for example by having Syria cut out of the equation. (through DailyKOS)
