The effects of Bush style tax cuts have been showing up for a while now, but until I read this article it hadn’t quite clicked yet.
Bush’s tax cuts are nothing but another way to grab more power. When states are starved out of tax money the cut government programs, which in turn leaves, as the article states, only defense and huge payments to friends of the White House. In such a situation less people will be well off, generally as well as intellectually for example, and as such will be even less equipped to oppose the fascists in DC. So in sum, those tax cuts are nothing but one of the most effective lemming breeding machines that remove another obstacle on Bush’s way to a total fascist police state.
