Over the last few days and weeks, the issue of the Niger part of the forged evidence that was used by the US administration to justify the invasion and occupation of Iraq has blown up. Retired members of the intelligence community, the Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity, have recommended to pResident Bush that he ask Vice pResident Cheney to resign as he was the major culprit in the administrations effort to include intelligence they knew was forged in their case for war.
