One of the House Judiciary Committee’s latest actions once again gives me the impression that certain politicians are nothing more than puppets of the big multinational corporations, in this case servants of the media conglomerates, instead of serving The People. They have come up with the Author, Consumer & Computer Owner Protection and Security Act which would make filesharing a federal felony. I’m just somewhat curious as to how they believe this will work if the bill passes. Are they gonna use this as an excuse to make Alex Jones‘ consipracy theories a reality? I really can’t see them actually prosecuting millions of people. Sure, in theory prosecution would probably happen at the same frequency as DWI, but in this case it’d be far easier to detect.
