One editor at the BBC certainly seems to think so. According to the article, Israel’s bombing of targets in Syria could well encourage US chickenhawks to launch their PR campaign and following military campaign against Syria. While the actual execution of such plan will probably take some time (i.e., remove some troops from Iraq, lie to The People), this move of one of the US administration’s closest allies in the region certainly points in that direction.
