If there ever was any doubt that very few corporate executives and army officials rule the world, it has been extinguished now, or at least should be. A detailed listing of all the corporations profiting immensly from the quasi annexation of Iraq, which was published yesterday, brings to light one big network of very well connected super rich executives who share the profits and spoils of world rule.
Unfortunately there are still many who don’t see the danger in this, so let’s put it in simple terms: When corporations control every single aspect of your life you have become a slave to the system, nothing more than a body abused by kleptocratic fascists who want nothing more than more wealth, more than several generations of many Americans’ families will ever earn in total. The best example of this is the voting machine manufacturers’ close ties to the White House and their freinds: How will you effect any change if the person you elect is not allowed to assume office (like in 2000)?
If the fascists are not stopped, all that is holy to Americans, the Bill of Rights, the Constitution and even human rights (as set out by the UN) will be gone and reality will be worse than Orwellian.
The recent weeks have proven that people better listen to progressives if they know what’s good for them. We predicted months ago that there would be no WMDs to be found in Iraq, that Bin Laden would not be found and it is now becoming clear that the US government doesn’t want to find Saddam Hussein either (as they were after all the ones that installed him in the 1960s). So listen to this: You will feel the heat and you will suffer at the hand of neo-cons and chickenhawks. So get up off of your lazy backsides! Register to vote, organize, protest and bug your senators until you’re blue in the face! Because we The People founded this country and therefore it is our human right to be in charge of it. It is we that own America, not huge corporations!
