As usual when the Tom Ridge has decided to raise the homeland security terror alert level, the Bush administration has once again snuck an unusually nasty piece of legislation behind Americans’ backs. This time it’s about the FBI’s ability to look at your bank records at will. The alert scale should really be renamed to The How-much-harm-is-Bush-doing-to-your-rights alert scale.
