Bush admits to planning invasion long in advance

Even though former Treasury secretary O’Neill’s book may contain a certain number of falsehoods, we now know that he was right with at least one of his assertions: pResident Bush had been planning the invasion of Iraq all along.

Some conservatives assert that this is nothing out of the ordinary and the he was more than justified to invade Iraq based on their disrespect of the no-fly zone. If that is the case, then I must wonder why Bush did not just come out and state this as the reason for the invasion. I don’t think a clear violation of an agreement is a difficult concept for The People to understand.

As it stands, the official reason for the invasion were the non-existent WMDs and an imaginary threat to the US. The pResident lied to The People and that in itself justifies the criticism directed at him.
