Gen Wesley Clark yesterday endorsed Sen John Kerry after giving up on his own campaign. While this on one hand’s side may look like he endorsed Kerry because he will probably win, I believe it is more of an effort to ensure that should he ever try to run again he won’t have to deal with endorsing a loser.
