One of my favorite local bands, Last Conservative, recently released their new album “On To The Next One”, which was produced by Goo Goo Dolls bassist Robby Takac.
As with any good work, the title sums up the meaning of the album. OTTNO indeed takes Last Conservative to a new level, one at which I’d say they’ll only be one step away from being ready for primetime.
In terms of production and instrumentation, the songs manage to bridge the gap between originality and radio freindliness. Even though more songs now feature electronic effects and keyboards, they are evidence of a maturing songwriter (TJ Zindle) and band and are still all infused with the same energy and unique character that they have been known for.
So support original music and get this record!
