In a continuation of his assault on the health of Americans, President Bush has ordered that all scientists must now get approval from an elected official before attending conferences of the World Health Organization.
The truth about the President’s attitude towards science is becoming a lot more evident these days. While opposition to stem cell research might be understandable under certain circumstances, things like this and his anti-AIDS prevention stance are unacceptable.
