For the past few months I have seen phrases like “bring the troops home now!” from the extreme left and center left type of liberals. As usual, that’s all they have to say, a demand without an educated explanation of how to respond to the demand. Now, this would not be surprising if it only came from your average immature and uneducated college / high school / California type of liberal, but these kinds of comments are even uttered by politicians such as Senator Kennedy. While asking for an exit strategy may not be such a bad thing, those liberals are all too impatient and seem to forget that all good things take time and that especially withdrawing any troops now would hurt our image more than it would benefit it. The allegedly large number of foreigners with only elementary knowledge of US politics would probably only be satisfied if the US became as socialist as their countries, so seeing as that will not happen within the next 100 years, why bother trying to satisfy their lust for injustice through egalitarianism around the world?
