Further discrimination against smokers on the horizon

According to the BBC, an international treaty designed to further limit smokers’ freedom and hurt business is set to take effect today. While many countries have signed on for this silly liberal undertaking, the US government has fortunately held off so far.

I still fail to see why those liberals constantly have to waste their time trying to “help” people who don’t need and often don’t want their help. Every smoker knows tobacco could potentially kill them and those who don’t like tobacco have all the freedom they need to avoid it. Instead of wasting their time trying to restrict others’ freedoms I would prefer it if they got back to some of their other time wasting past times like making unreasonable demands of our government or holding “I hate everything” protests.
