Michael Jackson, black luminary?

As a great follow-up to my last post, here’s the newest bit of proof that Michael Jackson would be better off if Neverland Ranch became a certified institution for the mentally handicapped:

On Rev. Jesse Jackson’s radio show last Sunday, Jackson dropped this nonsense: “(…) I’m being accused of something, where I know in my heart and in my experiences in life I’m totally innocent, and it’s very painful. But this has been kind of, ah, a pattern among Black luminaries in this country.”

Michael Jackson, black? Maybe, but only before 1983. A luminary? Only in as far as it is blindingly obvious to most resonable people that he’s completely nuts.
