Some more news bites:
- Nancy Pelosi accused of unethical behavior
According to this Washington Times article, House minority leader Pelosi helped one of her donors recieve a substantial sum for one of their projects. Who’s the hypocrite now? - Mexicans interfere with Minutemen’s efforts
The Mexican government has been sweeping the area south of the portion of the Arizona border patrolled by the Minutemen clear of immigrants. What a cheap way to harm the reputation of this great group of patriots. How about committing enough funds to keep the vast majority of illegal immigrants away from our border? Illegal immigration should be a problem of both Mexico and the US. It is their job to force their people to stay put and ours to keep them where they belong.
On a lighter note, I can warmly recommend Pelosi’s daughter’s documentary “Journeys with George“. Not for her opinion, but for the priceless moments of President Bush’s candor and down to earth humor. It’s great to see that the President still has the spirit that made him (in)famous at Yale. When asked what tree he would be if he were one, he replies: “I’m not, I’m a Bush.”
