Donald Rumsfeld Warns Against Islamic ‘Empire’
Our secretary of defense was dead on when he said the above. We must fight this enemy!

Yet more proof that Islam is NOT the “religion of peace”.
I’ve also saved the cartoons locally to provide another mirror.
While the President’s address on Tuesday was overall very good, certain commentators have reminded me of two specific weak points in the State of the Union address:
Immigration: The President again alluded to cutting trespassers some slack. This is unacceptable. They should all be deported in a manner in which they will be prevented from ever entering the United States again.
Energy independence: As James Glassman at AEI accurately points out, it was a big mistake for President Bush to use liberal terminology by describing our energy situation as an “addiction” to oil. Not only is that assertion false but it also converys the wrong message.
Congressmen Ejected With Sheehan
Looks like Sheehan wasn’t the only one not mature enough to remain seated for the President’s address.

Ok, if this isn’t fiscal discipline, then what is it, dear “Big government GOP” commentators?
This year’s season of American Idol has started out quite nicely.
As always, the most appauling and plain crazy people think they have talent and Simon’s as witty as always.
Here are some quotes from this season, courtesy of MSNBC:
“You look like the Incredible Hulk’s wife.â€
- Simon to uncaptioned auditioner with green hair and shirt, Jan. 24
"The best advice I can give you, Cachet, is to buy a soundproof shower curtain."
- Simon to auditioner Cachet, a self-proclaimed "shower singer," Jan. 24
"It’s the sort of thing I would expect to hear in an unpopular restaurant. ... I'll have a coffee!"
- Simon to auditioner Shawn, Jan. 24
"Do we have a bigger stage this year?"
- Simon after Mandisa, a larger woman, auditioned, Jan. 17
"Shave off the beard and wear a dress, because [you'd] be a great female impersonator."
- Simon to auditioner Charles, Jan. 17
On Monday, my university’s student newspaper, The Spectrum, published a letter to the editor written by some moonbat liberal who decided he was going to apologize for someone else who had told the truth about an immigration issue.
Feeling prompted, I wrote a letter in response. Judging by the paper’s reaction to this (they once again decided not to publish a letter of mine) I must have touched some nerves. So here’s my masterpiece in all its glory:
Hines does not speak for most Americans
To the editor:
This letter is in response to the letter by P.J. Hines in the January 30th issue of The Spectrum.
To the easily offended: P.J. Hines does not speak for all Americans, not even for the majority of Americans. As should have been evident from the language he used, the only people he speaks for are extremists who in no way interested in preserving our nation as it has stood for over 200 years.
Mr. Quarantello may have been blunt in his approach, but he was right. Statistics prove that the vast majority of terrorism against the USA or US interests has been committed by men of middle eastern decent. If that social group therefore gets singled out for searches, it is not racism but common sense policy being exercised.
Mr. Quarantello was also right when he attempted to explain the uselessness of the local extremists’ “fight” against the federal government. Suing Customs and Immigration Service agencies for offending your sensibilities is only going to motivate them to crack down harder on Muslims, not to afford them the “rights” they seek. It is akin to assaulting a police officer after being found guilty of the possession of a controlled substance.
And then there’s this thing called humor…
Looks like Russia hasn’t recovered from its communist ways after all…
