Hill conservatives warn Bush of amnesty anger – Nation/Politics – insider.washingtontimes.com
“House conservatives yesterday issued a dire warning to President Bush and Republican leadership that they will pay a devastating political price if they proceed with a guest-worker program or anything resembling amnesty for illegal aliens before securing the borders and enforcing existing immigration laws.”
I shall certainly work against any senator who votes in favor of crime on the immigration issue.

“People make a government so that their rights (life, freedom, and happiness) will be safe. The job of the government is to protect the rights of the people. A government is good when it does this. Also, the government must do what the people say, because the people made the government. When the government does what the people say, it is called a democracy.” – United States Declaration of Independence
The U.S. government has failed to do its duty. The Citizens of the United States of America demand:
1) Border security
2) Enforcement of employment laws
3) Stop giving away the Rights & Privileges of Citizenship to foreign invaders
4) “Guest Worker” Program = Amnesty. (a guest is invited and expected to leave)
The cost of illegal immigration is greater than the benefits. According to the
California Labor & Workforce Development Agency, “the fiscal impact of
immigrants in recent years was negative. Public service costs exceeded taxes
paid.” – http://www.labor.ca.gov/panel/impactimmcaecon.pdf
Manpower Inc., an employment services company, shows in their Talent Shortage Survey (Feb 2006) that 78% of the 4,805 companies surveyed in Mexico are struggling to find workers. Of the countries surveyed, Mexico has indicated the greatest need for workers. Canada is 2nd with 66% (1,000 companies). U.S. is 9th with 44% (1,275).
So, if illegal immigrants want jobs… they should go to Mexico (1st) or Canada (2nd).
Mexico needs (in order): Sales reps, Technicians, LABORERS, Production operators, Administrative assistants, Engineers, Customer service, Maintenance managers, Sales managers, and Recptionists.
