This is old news by now, but The Police (Sting’s band) have re-awoken (they never officially split, so this is technically not a reunion) and will be touring the globe in the coming months.
This is very cool and if this is more than a “wanna make some easy money” tour like the Who have been doing, I can only hope that Sting will be happy to do “his thing” part time from now on so that we can have some more excellent records. If all original members of Black Sabbath and 3/4 of the Beatles managed to record two songs decades after splitting up, the Police should manage at least that much.
