Letter to Gov Schwarzenegger

Dear Governor Schwarzenegger,

Shame on you Governor Schwarzenegger, shame on you! I am very disappointed that you signed SB 1441 and thereby expressed grave disregard for centuries of tradition, religion and American and European culture. Doing the reverse of what your fellow Austrian Adolf Hitler did last century will not help the image of German speaking Europeans in California and by extension all across America.

Although I do not live in California, I am Swiss and considering the influence of Swiss citizens such as General Sutter on California in its early days, I am concerned if a quasi representative of central Europe puts our heritage to shame by pandering to the extremist homosexual lobby.

I can understand how it may be difficult for a man of your noble character to suitably govern a state full of communist-leaning constituents, but I, like many other social conservatives, would rather see you commit career suicide than to give in to such evil groups.

Governor, I believe you are popular enough without the gay lobby’s support. There are many within and beyond your state’s borders who will celebrate future efforts that are in line with the aims of the Republican party. Restore our faith, sir, please undo the damage of SB 1441!

I doubt the theory has sufficient credibility as everything published by UBL’s favorite medium must be taken with almost a pound of salt, but it is very interesting nonetheless.

Ideally, the Bush administration would be all for assisting the establishment of a federalist system in Iraq. After all, why else would we have different states here in the US? Unfortunately we’re not (officially) divided among ethnic lines, but I would say that history has shown that whenever states have been drawn up this way and have been created legally (yes I’m looking at you Israel), harmony has followed.

One could also ponder if our own civil war would be the best argument against a non-federalist Iraq. The liberal idea of “everybody getting along” is nothing but a myth and has never worked in practise. The reason why the US has survived and used to thrive is that we all once had a common background and heritage, that is until liberals advocated slavery and lax immigration policies. The more I see and read about what illegals and uncontrolled “problem areas” are doing to our country, the more I wonder whether Strom Thurmond may have had a point. Isn’t it just possible that there was some truth to what he said? Also, Trent Lott should have been left standing, just as much as Mel Gibson should not have been chastized more than the Muslim who killed several jews the same week.

The moment you force fake cultural unity on people is the moment one ethnic group loses out. Unless liberals’ and communists’ influence is cut off, reverse apartheid will rule this country in the not too distant future. Already Mexicans are favored over college educated foreigners. I do not want to have to treat them like I owe them my life, ever, and neither should my future children.

In more than a proverbial way, more people need to see the light. We cannot turn a blind eye to the abuse of Mexicans in their own nation while we spend billions to bequeath Iraqis with a better life. We can also not insist on despots obeying the UN while we don’t expect Israel to do so. Moreover, it’s obvious that the idea at the core of the UN is a rotten one and simply does not work. The UN never “knows better” and I’d rather close them down before the real life Nicolai Carpethia arrives.

The most effective measure to start reforms at colleges would be to tighten admissions processes so that inappropriate students are no longer able to attend colleges with good reputations. To this end, personal interviews should be mandated to weed out students who are unable to cope with common sense, grade standards should be raised and all racial discrimination against white people should be eliminated by closing down any “affirmative action” and “equal opportunity” programs and offices. With the resulting higher IQ and common sense level in students, traitorous time wasting faculty would quickly become a burden and be discarded by administrators. This way we would also have a lot more citizens available to do the jobs stolen by Mexicans and other vermin here illegally.

Happy 715th, Switzerland!

Today my fatherland, Switzerland, turned a mature 715 years old. And we’re still loved by everyone. I agree with Swiss President Leuenberger on the middle east situation as it relates to Swiss neutrality and remain committed to speaking out in favor of preserving Switzerland’s special status. May she serve as an example to all civilized nations for many more centuries.

Another example of how money is being stolen by insolent criminals and their communist allies. If I were in charge I would forbid courts to fund foreign language interpreters. If defendants refuse to pay for interpreters themselves they deserve an automatic guilty verdict. Such a move should drive home the fundamental value that if you can’t speak English you have no business being in the United States. Something is very wrong when Mexico has more nationalistic policies than the United States.

While I can see how the censorship of social networking sites at schools could affect academic freedom of minors, I am surprised that I would see an anarchist / liberal come out in favor of parental responsibility. This aspect of the DOPA became necessary because too many parents nowadays expect the government to raise their children. If the parents won’t ask their representatives to help them, they’ll throw a fit if they fail to protect their children from danger.

This issue is like the prevalent liability waivers forced on fun loving people. Because too many liberals refuse to be responsible for themselves and their own failures, honest people and corporations have had to protect themselves against their stupidity.

A funny new hipocrisy this, yet perfectly in line with the usual fallacious arguments popular amongst liberals. They’ll love Darwin any time of day except when his thoeries could kill or harm them. I say remove the safeguards and let the dumb die.

The above is why I thank God that I live in the United States. Germany is not the only country to have communist speech codes that prohibit any kind of speech the government deems “offensive” or “harmful”. I ask you, how is the paragraph of German law linked to above any different from the (less and less) fictional worlds of “1984” and “Fahrenheit 451”?

What troubles me most are the passages that contain the wording “Wer in einer Weise, die geeignet ist, den öffentlichen Frieden zu stören(…)”, which translated means “Anyone who in a manner suitable for disturbing the peace..”. With phrases like that, any speech not officially sanctioned by state authorities can be considered to be suitable for causing “undesirable” change. Especially in a “court of law” in such a country, one could also make a philosophical argument akin to how liberals argue in that anything that offends a certain number of people should be banned.

Such speech codes are quite simply unhuman. It is a part of human nature to be curious, to thirst for truth. If this were not so we would all have died out millenia ago. No wonder Hamilton and company left Europe to found a new country. King George III is still around, only now his spirit inhabits the likes of Chancellor Merkel.

Independence Day

Happy 230th Birthday America!

Patriotism really is a year-round obligation and not just a one day affair like many seem to think these days. It is also not difficult to find rolemodels for this sort of patriotism. President Reagan was the beacon of this ideal as he cleaned out and polished our great shining city on a hill. My best wishes go out to Nancy Reagan, the Reagan family and those who carry on his legacy in this era.

I’d also like to thank our troops both within and outside theaters of war, for without them we would not be free today. They defend this nation with honor and strength day in and out for as long as our enemies can’t see the value of what we have established.

To that end I also look forward to a day when we will once again be free from foreign influence, be that zionist, asian or plain old communist disease carriers who still love to spoil our hard earned rewards. We can recapture what we grabbed 230 years ago, and I hope that I will be alive to enjoy a renewed independence.

Looks like justice has been done. W.D. Penniman, the dean of my school, the School of Informatics at the University at Buffalo will be stepping down at the end of next month.

If the faculty is truly interested in seeing the Informatics program succeed, they will ensure the appointment of a dean who will make drastic changes, so that theory becomes reality and others like myself won’t be as irritated anymore.

Four years after its inceptions, the informatics MA program is a disgrace. I hope the new dean will work very seriously on getting the program up to the level of the communication programs so that every program will be something to be proud of.

In memory of my grandfather

If he were still alive, my grandfather, Fridolin Buenter, would have turned 98 today.

For over 50 years, he kept up the morale of many through his work and involvement with marching bands and in the Swiss army. He did the same for those close to him then and long after that as well and I will never forget the impact he had on my musical aspirations.

So let’s raise our (virtual if need be) glass in memory of Adj Uof (Adjt.) Buenter, my grandfather.

Independence Day

It was today, 229 years ago, that those words formed the beginning of our Declaration of Independence from England. On this anniversary of our nation it is vital to remember whence we’ve come and where we are to go. It is especially important to know what our Founding Fathers intended for our nation to be and become. For this purpose, the United States Constitution is the second very important document. For all the people of this nation, it should be second to only the Bible.

On this day, I first and foremost thank God for giving our nation His blessing and endowing the founders with the abilities necessary to start the greatest nation this planet has ever seen. I also thank our troops for keeping us safe and defending our freedom and liberty throughout the centuries. I am also grateful for the stellar leadership of many a President who have led this nation in the right direction, but at the same time hope that those who did not will be remembered for doing so.

It is important at this point that we honor the architects of our Republic by becoming more faithful to our founding documents and the beliefs of theirs again. Especially the last 40 years have seen a shameful decline in morality, defense mechanisms and social structure. It is therefore my hope that with God’s will, those of us who have retained our sanity will succeed in returning the glory this nation deserves, so that we truly may be the shining city upon the hill.

New design

As you can see, I have finally changed the name of this site and remodeled the design to reflect my personality better.

Over the past few months I have freed myself more from the liberal agenda that’s prevalent here and grown to stand up more for who I am. I have always been a centrist but in the past let myself me dragged down to the level of a progressive or even a weak minded liberal.

So here is a design that represents more of the true me. My personal rule of not letting people “fiddle” with me and my agreement with many libertarian principles is represented by the Gadsden flag on top. The “American in Spirit” line refers to the fact that unlike other foreigners in the US, I abhor and despise anti-Americanism and do not segregate myself off from the general population. It is also an honest disclaimer that is to indicate that while my sense of patriotism and knowledge of US politics are far superior to that of many US citizens, I am not one of them on paper but stand with patriotic Americans in spirit.

Right now, the only thing working is this blog page but I will get to the others one by one. I will also be changing a few more things here.
