Looks like I’m not the only one pissed about Dubya’s redneck politics. Here’s a sampling of more statements:
If they are able to make good on that threat Dubya is really screwed. Hehehe. 🙂
“Homeland security is not a zero-sum game,” Ridge said. “It is a win-win.”
I’d say it doesn’t take a Dr. to see that that is just a lie. Terrorists outsmarted US security once and they could do it again. Nothing is 100% safe.
Check this one out: http://www.washtech.com/news/media/14759-1.html
Apparently AOL TW wants to buy RedHat in order to compete against Microsoft. Sure, promoting Linux is really cool, but I’d prefer to see someone other than this disgusting slob of a media giant do it. They’ll just ruin it. Oh well, apparently Mandrake is better anyways.
Today one year ago, Dubya was sworn into office after being chosen for the post. Over the period of only one year that twat and his minions have managed to drag this country into one of the worst times it has ever seen. Tax cuts only for the rich, Asscrotch the racist, Christianity as the “official” religion, another US Army terrorist expedition…. The list goes on.
My verdict is that he has not done anything good for this country. Every day he reminds me of the little rich spoilt brat he is. It’s like giving a kid a new toy, he will do anything he wants with it. And that to me is this chosen immature moron. He returns favors to the rich who put him into office and treats “his” people like 3rd class human beings. And I won’t even start on his open racism and religious discrimination.
Anyone who votes for that bastard in 2004 should be shot. I’m sure I will still stand by this statement by then. Anyone who can be so ignorant and plain stupid to not see how incapable of leading a country to fairer and more democratic times he is doesn’t deserve his / her status as a citizen of this country.
So should Ralph Nader run, VOTE GREEN, i.e. for him. That will be the only sensible choice amidst the all too similar GOP / dems and those nutters trying to run, i.e. that Christian moron (Buchanan), Hagel and what not. Get this: If you can’t even get a good percent, don’t even try.
And again, Dubya has made one of his Xtian comments in public. His public practising of his religion has bothered me for a long time. The way it seems he thinks that everyone is an Xtian first and then something else. He openly discriminates against people of other beliefs by constantly talking about his in public.
Therefore: When you get to work, please leave your religion out in the hallway. We don’t care about your beliefs, we have our own! This goes for every public figure. Religion has no place in non-denominational media!
I’m very happy to see that someone else is questioning Asscrotch’s methods. Rev. Al Sharpton’s approach may not be very mainstream but I’m happy that someone of a different race is speaking up and relating it to the still present discrimination of African Americans.
Article: Reuters article
So the charges have now been filed. I am unable to take a clear stand in favor or against the actions of Asscrotch & Co. but I know that I have something against some statements he made today.
I quote from the above article: “Walker will not be tried by a military tribunal. President Bush has said military tribunals will be used against only foreign nationals and not American citizens.”
That statement to me is the government admitting racial discrimination. The bill of rights gives the same rights to a civil trial to foreigners and US citizens. So there you have it. This clearly proves Asscrotch’s racist tendencies.
As for the possible treason charges: Asscrotch claims the protections offered by the constitution are difficult to overcome. As we have seen however Dubya and his minions will not hesitate to rewrite the laws offering those protections or simply declare them to be invalid or “outdated”.
I quote again: “Ashcroft said the charges filed against Walker were based on voluntary statements he had made after his capture in Afghanistan.”
Voluntary my arse. They can say all they want but considering the state Walker is in I don’t think he could make a rational decision. Because of that I believe that any statement or signature should be declared invalid until an attorney has been assigned to Walker and the case has been brought before a civilian court on US soil.
Can anything related to mariuhana get any more ridiculous than this?! Ok, so he’s a prince, but even a few hours at rehab for consuming a non-harming recreational drug is just plain ridiculous! This just reignites my feelings about how much Marihuana needs to be legalized! Ok, so the prince would get in trouble if he did something legally like drinking too, but that’s not the point. Large sums of money are wasted on anti – Marihuana operations. When will the governments wake up to the facts and realize that they could turn this loss of money into great profits by regulating and taxing the legal sale of Marihuana?!
“Issues of indecency on the people’s airwaves are important to millions of Americans” – FCC Commissioner Michael Copps
Oh boy.. Since when have the airwaves been the people’s? Like Ralph Nader pointed out two years ago, they are not. The media conglomerates who own those stations decide what’s on and what isn’t. The people don’t have any power there.
I just got a new stereo WITH a turntable! So far all you vynil lovers with a limited budget out there.. I can only recommend the AIWA Z-L720! Incidentally of you don’t need a 5 CD but only a 3 CD changer, the less expensive model, the Z-L520 should be cool too.
Today Elvis Aaron Presley would have turned 67 if he was still alive. May his memory live on forever. He was a pioneer and has long since become a legend.
So apparently Apple’s gonna release a new iMac (http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,49517,00.html). Looks like a silly desk lamp, kinda cool, but not my cup o’ tea. Apparently it’s supposed tonvert die-hard Windows users into mac fans… Fat chance! Only lemmings will go for the looks of a mac. I don’t give a shit what it looks like, it still runs that crappy OS X. Lemme tell ya: If you want a proper OS, get Linux or Unix, not a commercialized version of *nix like OS X. And to that end: I don’t mind having a standard old fashioned computer. It may not look like a million bucks but at least it can run a decent OS and way more software!
A new report by Professor M.W. Herald of the departments of Economics and Women’s Studies at the University of New Hapshire has drawn up statistics that show that at least 4000 innocent Afgan citizens have been killed so far in the war on Afghanistan. The way the US media and government try to cover up the truth is just disgusting.
A summary by WIRED: http://www.wired.com/news/conflict/0,2100,49475,00.html?tw=wn20020104

Happy New Year everyone!
Let’s hope the second year of the 21st century will be a better one than the 1st one. If big events will happen let’s hope they’ll give freedom and rights back to the people and work towards a fairer world. Oh yes, and please, drop the debt!!
The article above examines the reasons for the clear need for self-examination here in the US. It describes how this alleged war on terrorism is just a cover for far more imperalistic desires.
As if the attempted bombing of an AA flight last week by the shoebomber wasn’t enough… This week some civilian guy boarded two flights with a loaded gun in his luggage:
This to me just proves what I’ve been saying for a long time: Those alleged new feaures are just boobie traps and cosmetics. Just putting a few officers here and there won’t do much. These bastards really do try to save money whereever they can.
It really is sad to see how the standards that used to make up the greatness of this country are slowly vanishing. Once again, an Arab-American person was not allowed to board a plane only because he was not a white American:
I gotta say I was kinda hoping for them to recover from their sell-out with their last album “retun of saturn”, but my hopes faded when I heard their newest single and looked at their new album’s credits. They’ve slid further into the pit of commercialism. I mean, they’re a ska band for chrissakes! What’s up with all that hip hop nonsense?!
WAR IS OVER!
If You Want It.
–(John Lennon & Yoko Ono).
Happy Christmas everyone.
Not only are innocent civilians being killed but the US government is also once again imposing its view on another country, trying to get them to operate the way they want. In any way, these attacks are pointless. As Wolf Blitzer of CNN’s 12/15 report at
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/wolf.blitzer.reports/index.html points out, Al Quaeda’s cells are all over. Just bombing Afghanistan won’t hurt them much. Direct and precise arrests are needed, not pointless bombing and immature behavior on behalf of the administration.
Today (12/15) 210 years ago, the bill of rights became law and it took just less than that to have Bush come along to invalidate important parts of it. Just great… I can only hope that there’s some form of justice that will restore the balance.
So the government has now indeed started seeking out young men of specific nationalities, mostly from the middle east, to be interviewed. The racist Ashcroft of course denies any wrongdoing and naturally the FBI would be careful not to do anything stupid in front of a prominent lawyer. I can’t wait for the day when the truth will come out.
The Washington Post has once again made my day, this time by publishing a brilliant editorial pointing out General Attorney Ashcrofts flaws:
I mean, tasty sentences like: “It is not disloyal — in fact, it is a form of patriotism — to ask whether government (…) is going off half-cocked against the wrong people.” Wow, that’s gotta be one of thest observations I’ve seen so far.. up there with “Bush’s redneck politics” n’all. 🙂 Like Dell(boy) would say.. Luvly Jubbly!
In the above article, Attorney General John Ashcroft accuses “peace-loving people” of doing exactly what the administration is doing:
“To those who pit Americans against immigrants, citizens against
non-citizens, to those who scare peace-loving people (…)”
Isn’t that exactly what he and his men are doing to us? Portraying people from the middle east as dangerous terrorists, scaring otherwise rights-defending people into becoming lemmings?! He then goes on to state the exact opposite of what’s happening, accusing the brain users of encoraging lemmingism. He basically puts empty phrases out there claiming the administration is not doing anything that would violate the bill of rights.
Fortuantely, the article also contains excerpts of the statements of some of the more enlightened members of congress. I only wish they had more power though… This erosion of the small amount of democracy that remained before 9/11 must be stopped!
The article above mentions that Attorney General Aschcroft has compared the military tribunals to the tactics used to crack down on the Mafia in 1960. All I can say is that he’s obviously forgotten that that was around the early 60s when African Americans were still grossly dicriminated against and those tactics violated people’s civil rights as well, so that argument is invalid.
Further down, another shocking fact about the lemmings is revealed.
According to a Gallup Poll almost 2/3 of Americans approve of the measures taken and 25% even think the administration has not gone far enough! This is a very disturbing thing to see. I bet many of those lemmings are those that will complain in the coming months that their “highly valued” freedom has been curtailed in some way. Wake up people, please!
The following CNN article (wow, watch-dog type news from a major media outlet, blimey!) outlines the INS’ racial profiling activities:
In the following article former FBI agents highlight all the weaknesses of Ashcroft’s plans:
Once again, I am indebted to Declan McCullagh at Wired News for these fantastic links in this and other articles. The original blurb is at: http://www.wired.com/news/politics/0,1283,48779-2,00.html
Once again, a Washington newspaper has the most interesting scoop regarding the media, this time about all those lemmings keeping this country from becoming a democracy. Read all about it at:
This past Thursday, 11/29/2001, the world lost one of its greatest poets and musicians, George Harrison. Even though he was dubbed the quiet Beatle he was never at a loss for words and is said to have been witty and loving all the way to the end. Like so many others I too am grieving. Life feels a lot emptier without him. My only condolence is that whereever he is now he will probably get a chance to reunite with John Lennon.
“There are very clear Supreme Court cases that confirm the authority of the president to use military commissions for war crimes,” he said.
So what?! The supreme court is not always right and their judges are as we know just as biased as the administration if not outright “bedfellows” of them. I mean, they chose Bush. After that I just don’t trust them to make objective decisions anymore.
Ashcroft said the president should have this authority [to use military comissions] and argued Bush would use it “wisely.”
Yeah right, as if that’s ever gonna happen. Just putting Bush and wise in one sentence amounts to at least half a lie. As for using it… it’s Bush’s advisors, which includes Ashcroft, that are effectively ruling over this country, Bush is just a puppet. This is a very dangerous thing as we all know that Ashcroft is probably the highest ranked racist in this country.
Today, “the chosen one” said “we must not let foreign enemies use the
forms of liberty to destroy liberty itself”. Liberty?! They’re human
rights!! And how are terrorists destroying liberties? It’s him and his administration that are destroying our liberties! I wish people would stop being lemmings, quit this fake patriotism crap and defend their civil rights and the constitution. Yes, we may be involved in some sort of “war”, but that is no reason to move towards a police state.
Like I’ve said many times… ever since Bush was chosen this country has been going downhill. That oil baron has done nothing but destroy advances in politics and give more power to the already powerful.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, here’s an interesting article that’ll make you think twice next year. It’s a Native American perspective on the holiday and talks about the way in which they essentially don’t have much to be thankful for.
Finally some senators are questioning Dubya’s rash rulings… Sen. Patrick Leahy has asked Attorney General Ashcroft to explain the new measures to the nation:
